Store for Filmmakers

JTK specializes in the sale of lighting equipment, specialized light sources, and consumables primarily for film, theater, and television studios, as well as for the healthcare sector. We have many years of experience in this field—the company has been operating on the Czech market since 1991.

In 2017, the company moved to larger and more accessible premises in a warehouse complex in Hostivice. The increase in warehouse space allows us to keep many more products in stock and respond to customer requests without significant delay.

The year 2018 was marked by significant growth. We expanded our warehouse again, built new office space, a showroom, and a service center, which enabled us to become a service partner for ARRI, Astera, K5600, Litegear, Manfrotto, and other lighting and accessory brands. Our suppliers also recognized this growth, so JTK became the exclusive distributor for ARRI, LiteGear, GEN Energy, K5600, and others. Thanks to this, we have faster deliveries and, most importantly, better prices.

Following the market downturn caused by COVID, the company is returning to growth in 2022. We expanded our warehouse space to nearly three times its original size, increased the area of our showroom and service department, and redesigned our shipping area to speed up deliveries of purchased goods and increase receiving capacity.

In the second half of 2022, we acquired Noon Filmtechnik, a long-standing supplier of all equipment for filmmakers in the Czech and Slovak markets. Noon Filmtechnik will continue to operate in the market as an independent company and will utilize JTK’s logistics infrastructure.

At the beginning of 2023, we are moving our e-shop operations under the new ProFilmaře brand.

Noon Filmtechnik ceased to exist as an independent company following its merger with JTK on January 1, 2026.
